The Big 3 will look to continue their dominance as NASCAR heads to the next road-course race of the year: the GoBowling at the Glen 220.

While Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. are the favorites once more, on this 2.45-mile track at Watkins Glen there are certain to be a few drivers, that one may not expect, threatening the leaders.

AJ Allmendinger has just two top-10 finishes this year, however with four top-10s in his last five races at the Glen such as a triumph in 2014, he’ll be at or near the top all day as his competitive nature plays nicely on these street courses – even when Watkins Glen isn’t as technically challenging as Sonoma.

Denny Hamlin may not be quite the exact same type of sleeper pick as Allmendinger, but with five top-10 finishes – including four in the top 5 in his past five road-course races – the 37-year-old needs to be optimistic he could catch his first win of the year in New York on Sunday.
